Hi from Amok.
We are really proud of our most recent design collaboration in Queen’s Park with this Glamorous London family home.
In 2012 our clients bought a first floor apartment in trendy Queens Park and Amok helped to design them their first home together.
Seven years on and the family had expanded a little, one son and number two on the way demanded a little more space.
Fortunately they managed to buy the ground floor flat and we helped to convert the first floor apartment into a functional yet glamorous family home.

The Living space feels really pretty and calm. Parquet floors were used but in a modern zig zag pattern. Pale grey walls toned with neutral furnishings and a splash of dusty pink.

Throughout the house there are cool colours, dark woods and antique brass fittings. It all feels a little bit glamorous and a touch more grown up than the old apartment.

The kitchen was moved from the first floor apartment downstairs and funked up with new fabulous marble slab work surfaces and a gorgeous retro pendant lamp.

The bedroom, which had previously been the living room, was glammed up with grey silk wallpaper and new bespoke joinery with antique mirrored glass, creating an exotic yet cosy space.

It’s been a busy year and let’s hope the next one is even busier.
Wishing you a Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2020 from all at Amok.
Best wishes
Tanya Hudson
